Hidden graphics is an exercise in discovery, study and diffusion of contemporary graphic design; the fruit of a work of reflection on and quest for the most innovative creation in this sphere of our culture. The book deals with a set of works which, for various reasons, have never received the recognition they merit. At the same time it seeks to redress the shortcomings of previous works of what we might call the official history of graphic design . The works presented here are examples of graphic communication which have not appeared in graphic design yearbooks, compilations or studies, and have been selected for their graphic and sociological interest.
