In the late eighties, Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist (*1962) skyrocketed to international fame with her intriguingly cryptic and provocative videos. Since then, she has received numerous awards for her works suggestive mixtures of visual and musical elements, overlapping images, acceleration and deceleration, and frequently psychedelic colorful effects such as the Premio 2000 at the Venice Biennale.Presenting Rist's entire oeuvre from 1986 to the present, this monograph publishes many works for the first time.
