The book covers a cult trend in Tokyo - the trading of photographic self-portraits. It is a new way of communicating among young Japanese women. Their nickname is "kubi kara camera zoku" (the crowd with a camera around their neck). Their spokeswoman is Hiromix, the spiritual daughter of Nobuyoshi Araki. Born in 1976, she knows that her youth will not last forever; she therefore pins it down through her camera lens. Her world is made of self-portraits, friends, fashion and visions of Tokyo. It's a world of colours and innocence. It's her world of today.
