Peter de Sève's work spans four decades and various media, includingmagazines, books, television commercials, Broadway posters, andcharacter designs for animated feature films. He is perhaps bestrecognized for his many covers for The New Yorker magazine and hischaracter designs for the blockbuster Ice Age franchise (Scrat is averitable international celebrity). De Sève has also contributed to such filmsas Finding Nemo, Robots, The Little Prince, and The Grinch to name onlya few. He is currently working as lead character designer to establish thedesign style across Netflix's recently acquired Roald Dahl franchise,including Matilda, TheBFG, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. De Sève's monograph will showcase his distinct and captivating style,from character design for animation (especially but not limited to Ice Age),his work on iconic Broadway posters, his beloved New Yorker covers, anda smattering of sketches and personal work that have become fanfavorites across social media.
